My Poor Plates of Meat
My Poor Plates of Meat – Eating and Drinking my Way Along the Camino de Santiago
In 2018 Ian and Lynne put their lives on hold for two months and walked 900 kilometres across Spain following the Camino de Santiago – a thousand-year-old pilgrim route finishing at Santiago de Compostela, the resting place of St James.
Starting in France and crossing the Pyrenees, sleeping in monasteries, surviving blisters, bed bugs and biblical floods, the couple ate and drink their way along the route and recorded each gruelling day. Finally, Ian put down those experiences in this new book – ‘My Poor Plates of Meat – Eating and Drinking my Way Along the Camino de Santiago’.
Join us for the launch and a glass of fizz on Wednesday, 2nd November, at 6.30 pm. Tickets HERE
